Song of the Week: Scotty McCreery, I Love You This Big

Last week I was all set to gush over Scotty McCreery's performance at the CMA Festival, but I had to set that aside when I heard of the Sugarland concert tragedy. Well I can't put Scotty off any longer. His performance last week gave Josh Turner a run for the money, and that's no small feat. Anyway, Scotty officially launches what I suspect will be a hugely successful career in country music with his first single, I Love You This Big. The song could have been called I Love You This Deep, because whenever Scotty drops those beautiful bass notes, he's pretty hard to resist!
